I truly enjoyed this property - gorgeous and absolutely charming hotel.
I stayed for 4 nights here and had a really nice time. The room was big and airy with balcony, besides it had wake-up service, just in case. Central heating, a work desk, and TV available were an advantage.

We stayed at Hotel Mathiesn for a skiing holiday and were thrilled with its location. The ski hire and chairlift were just across the road, making it incredibly convenient. Our room was a pleasant surprise - larger than expected and had a balcony. The food at the hotel was excellent, with a fantastic breakfast spread including pancakes and fresh fruit salad. The dinner selection was also impressive, especially the soup and main course. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely return.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a perfect location for skiing as it is very close to the main lifts - you can even ski right up to the hotel's entrance. the rooms were basic but very convenient, and my room even had a porch with a great view. the staff were friendly and accommodating: they happily provided an extra bed and were very welcoming upon arrival. They also offered plenty of amenities including a spa area with a dry and wet sauna.
The hotel's evening meal schedule was not very flexible, making it difficult to plan other activities around dinner time.

The hotel had a great restaurant with delicious breakfast and 5-course dinners, and they provided plenty of entertainment for kids. I loved being able to ski right into the hotel and the views from the balcony were stunning. The wellness area was fantastic, with a sauna and sun bed. They also had safety features and other amenities like dry cleaning services. Ski-in/ski-out access was a big plus and I enjoyed exploring the natural beauty of the area during my stay.
Oh, and let's not forget the carbon monoxide detector and first aid kit. such thrilling amenities!
